Can't See Bcc field in E-mails Sent via Hotmail

When I'm composing, the bcc field is available and usable. Once I send the
message and go to the message I've just sent, the bcc field is not visible
and inaccessible even after moving the mail from the Hotmail server to a
Personal Folder. it seems to be a Hotmail quirk, as I don't have this issue
with Yahoo! mail.

How can I view the bcc field?

Web based e-mail considers you to be the recipient and
therefore no Bcc reading.
This Newsgroup addresses issues with MS Office Outlook!!

I made the mistake of thinking by posting in a discussion group named
"microsoft.public.outlook.general," it would be apparent that this issue is
related to Outlook without so stating. To re-phrase, When I'm composing IN
OUTLOOK, the bcc field is available and usable. Once I send the message
USING OUTLOOK and a Hotmail account and go to the meSsage I've just sent, the
bcc field is not visible and inaccessible even after moving the mail from the
Hotmail server to a Personal Folder in OUTLOOK. It seems to be a quirk of
the Hotmail OUTLOOK interface, as I don't have this issue when USING OUTLOOK
to send Yahoo! mail, which is also web-based e-mail.

So it would seem, but since it's a quirk of Hotmail, there's little that can
be done about it. Write to Microsoft. They own Hotmail.

So, it really is a Hotmail quirk and not some setting in Outlook or
Hotmail (don't see anything in Hotmail, though) that has to be
tweaked? It's an odd capability for Outlook and Hotmail to be unable
to interface.

So, I head over to Hotmail. Here's their reply:

"Although you have reached support for the Hotmail.com service, we are
pleased to provide you with the right resource for your Microsoft product
support needs. To access the right support options available to you, please
go to:

http://support.microsoft.com/out2003

Although our team specializes in resolving issues regarding the user
interface, features, and e-mail service for the site www.hotmail.com , the
issue you've raised covers technical features of other Microsoft software,
and the PSS team specializes in handling these specific kinds of issues. They
are also better equipped to assess your issue and give product improvement
feedback directly to the developers working on that product."

So, I'm back where I started, right here.

I'd say there's no way to tweak it. Outlook certainly has no control over
what headers Hotmail may or may not include. Moreover, if you send a
message to an addess via Bcc, the recipient should certainly NOT be able to
see the Bcc header, since that would destroy the utility of the Bcc
function. Bccs are often handled in the SMTP envelope. The headers have no
effect on that. In fact, headers, as far as SMTP mail is concerned, are
part of the DATA of the message and not part of the addressing at all.
