cant see calendar or contacts

I just started using outlook, how do i get contacts and calendar to open?
All i can open and view is email. I am using outlook 2003

Err several ways....on the main menu you can click on Go-Contacts/Calendar
or you can click on the appropriate icon at the bottom of the Navigation
Pane (on the L/H side of the main Outlook window....)
