Can't see calendar when scheduling in OutXP on Exch2k3

I have a Windows 2003 server running Exchange 2003 SP1. The client is
running OutlookXP with all the latest patches. If I give permissions from a
client including folder is visible to another client and the other client
schedules a meeting, they see a hatched bar for their schedule under
scheduling that says no information no information ffree/busy information
could not be retrieved. Click here to try retrieval again. Clicking has no
effect. If I right click on that users name, I can view their calendar in
full detail and make appointments etc. It would be nicer if I could see
their calendar on the bar just like the person setting up the meeting
without having to right click on their name and then opening their calendar.
Thanks.

Sorry - could you tell me what that means? The client has access to add and
remove data to the other users calendar.
