can't see graphic in publisher just the frame, did repair and rei.

While trying to make a business card from a blank starting point, I insterted
a jpeg picture as my initial starting point. Only the publisher editing
frame shows but not the picture. Also when opening wizard cards the graphics
and colors in those are either distorted or showing incorrectly. I have
repaired and reinstalled Microsoft Office from the original CD's with the
same results. Finally had to make the card on older version of Publisher on
one of my older computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have done that too, still no help, to be honest it was already checked by

Have you tried updating your video drivers?
Are you using the ATI X800 video card?
Have you checked Tools > Macro > Security > Trust All Installed Templates
and Add-ins?
Have you turned down hardware acceleration on your graphics card?
