Can't see inserted picture

J

Joe Cofone

When I attempt to Insert a picture into a Word document I
see nothing except handles and thin black border. In the
past the photo was inserted into the Word document. When I
right click inside the area where the picture should be, a
drop down box appears that allows me to open a picture
object. When I do this I see the picture. When I click on
close picture I return to the original document and all I
see is what I saw before.

When I am in "open picture object" screen and right click
on the picture and select copy, I can go to my original
Word document and paste the photo there.
