can't see my index page!

D

Daniel

not strictly a frontpage question but I'm using it to publish my pages so
here goes.................

I have registered a domain with simply.com and have my pages hosted with
them. I have a very bizarre problem in that I can see the index.html page on
one pc in the office but not on 4 or 5 others I have tried. I have ruled out
browser compatibility problems as the pc that is displaying is using I.E 5
but on another pc in the office using the same version i get "the page
cannot be displayed"

I can connect to the remote server no problem and can see my page happily
sitting in the correct folder.

I really can't get my head round this one. I'm having a fruitless email
conversation with a technical guy at simply.com as of course he can see my
page no problem at his end. He keeps telling me to refresh the browser which
I've done about 100 times, but to no avail.

please help!!

many thanks

dan

What is the URL? Is your index page .html or .htm? There are about 4
different index page names that can be used and you have to know which one
your ISP has set up. I got into that problem once with a new server.
