Can't see Outlook Contact Categories from MS Access

I'm running Outlook 2000 and Access 2000.

I'm trying to use Access to manage my Outlook Contacts based upon their
Categories, but Access doesn't see the Category field. If I export the
Contact data, Category can be exported, but I want to have real-time access
to the live contacts so my queries always hit the current data.

Any idea why Access can't see the Category field?
