Can't select a word by double clicking it.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Intel When I double-click a word, it won't select. Dragging over text will select it, and clicking in the margin selects a line, but I've lost the normal double-click to select a word.

Confirm that you have Office & OS X fully updated before chasing any
symptoms. Also, have you tried a simple restart of your Mac?
