Can't send attachments

Hello

I have a user using Outlook 2003 who I just switched from POP email to an
Exchange Server. He's now unable to send any emails with attachments. He's
able to send/receive normal mail, but anything with attachments reports "The
Client Operation Failed" with 0x80004005-0x80004005-0x000501 for the number.

Has anyone seen this? I've wiped out profiles, reinstalled Office, and
service packed it....to no avail. HOWEVER, if he uses OWA, works fine...
