Can't send e-mail using AOL

I keep getting an error message "Mail delivery error"
every time I try to send e-mail.
"The message could not be sent because it rejected you as
the sender" followed by several sentences is the reason
given for the error.
I've only recently been using aol as my ISP but the error
message is coming from Microsoft not AOL, therefore, AOL
can't help me. They sent me to Microsoft.

Can anyone help me, please?

Please be more specific.

Are you attempting to use a non-AOL account while dialed into AOL? If
so, see:

How do you have Outlook configured?
