can't send email

I use gmail for my email and outlook for my email manager. I'm not very
computer savvy at all. Last night, my ability to send email just stopped.
I'm receiving it, but can't send it. I am able to connect to the internet.
It is essential for me to send some emails tomorrow for my business.
Somebody PLEASE HELP!!!!

Check on the gmail site to ensure that your account settings are correct.
Otherwise, turn off the integration of your Norton with your email - the
scanning can interfere with Outlook send/receive settings.
