Can't send in Outlook 2003, but works with Outlook Express

Running Win XP, Outlook 2003
Can receive from two pop accounts and from hotmail account
Can send from hotmail account
Cannot send from pop accounts : server timed out error. (was set to 1 min, then changed to 3 min, no diff)

Tried with same info in Outlook Express : works great
No antivirus software, firewall software
Linksys BEFSR41 router, Alcatel ADSL modem

Any clues?

Create a new profile and see if it works then. If so remove the old profile.
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles... Make sure you set it to
prompt you for a profile when starting Outlook.
