Can't send or receive e-mail

I just had comcast dsl installed on my computer. I have
switched my e-mail address in Outlook to the correct
settings. When I try to send/receive I get a MS Outlook
Operation failed message. Help!

You might try this fix as I've had the same problem. Go to Tools>Accounts>clik on your email account>Properties>Server Table and check the bottom box that says my server requires authentication. Hope that works.
