Pop up requires me to confirm password to allow email to be received

I just upgraded my router. Now when I open outlook, it requires me to confirm my password before it will allow the program to download the new emails. It used to send and receive automatically but now it is requiring that extra step. It's not the end of the world but it is annoying. I've checked the accounts settings and can't find anything wrong. Anybody have a quick fix?
