Can't Send Outlook 2007 Task to OneNote 2007

i can send calendar items, emails and contact info from outlook to onenote
but i see no evidence that existing tasks can be SENT from outlook to
onenote. i'm told by tech support this is "by design", but it makes no
sense. Is there a way? If not, what's the logic?

thanks

Can't see it in practice or help file.

May be worth noting that there is a shortcut, Ctrl+Sh+K to send selected
title text to a new Outlook Task Item

David - thanks, but i'm trying to go the other way....FROM and
existing outlook 2007 task TO a new onenote 2007 entry.

It's a one way street.
Task can not be sent from OL to IN.

The logics?
Both products had to get ready in order to keep the timeline for the
Office suite.
So some things just could not be implemented. Take the "Ribbon"
interface as an example.

Yeah, I know what you were after, but it wasn't there so I tried to soften
the blow with a productivity tip...

Depending on how pressing this requirement is, your IT Dept may be able to
implement it in code by creating the OneNote page first and then creating &
opening the Outlook Task from that.
