Cant send to Microsoft Word

Any idea why the conversion process in File > Send to > Microsoft Office Word
stops mid stream (only some of my slides convert)? I get the message
"PowerPoint Couldn't Write to Microsoft Office Word"

What version of PowerPoint are you using? This link provides some info:

Sorry - I should have told you that. PowerPoint 2003 on Windows XP.

You might need to recreate the slide it's stalling on. Or send it
separately -- sometimes that works.
