Can't share BCM database with remote computer

Hi, I have Business Contact Manager on two laptops on a home network, in
Office 2010, on Windows 7. I am trying to share the BCM database from one
laptop to the other. Even after enabling sharing, my second laptop will
not find the BCM database on the first laptop. Otherwise, network
connectivity between the two laptops is OK.

As I go through the Share Database wizard, the option "Do you want to
share with remote users?" is ticked, but greyed out, which raises some
alarm bells. When I get to the list of users to allow, it shows only
local users on the main laptop. How on earth do I add a remote user on my
second laptop to this list of authorised users?
