changed/installed/uninstalled just prior to this not working.

The about screen lists version as follows:
Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6626) SP3
I don't readily recall adding any new software at the time it ceased
to work. When trying to delete a message I get a gray box with the
following message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown
error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook." Well, I've tried
restarting Outlook numerous times and the results are always the same.
When I try to move a mesage I get the following in a gray box, "Can't
move the items."

OK, I downloaded all 3 service packs. Couldn't install SP1 or 2,
Hotfix error message. Tried to install SP# and received message it
was already installed. Ant other ideas? Thanks for your help to
this point.
