Cant Type anything

Hi all
This problem start happening yesterday after I clicked on a link
Symantec detected a virus, the file that has been infected by the virus has been deleted
then from that time when I reply to any message I cannot type anything in

Is there anything that could help me

Did you write down the file that got infected?
Try a repair on Office first.

This is happening to me as well, however, I was not infected with a virus as far as I know

I tried to repair from the CD, to no avail

any suggestions?
