Can't type while "Ctrl+F" Find windows is open!

I'm using Excel 2000 and when I press the Ctrl+F keys and
bring up the find window, I can't type in the actual
document while it's open. I seem to recall having the
search window open and editing the document in Excel
2002. Was this feature only available in the new version
of excel?

Yep. Maybe it's time for an upgrade????

Find got a lot of enhancements in xl2002.
