Can't uninstall Office XP

M

Max

I have a PC at work that has Office XP installed on it.
Somehow it has got corrupted as it won't allow any
applications to be opened, (it says "Not configured for
current user). When I try to uninstall it, it won't let me
and says cannot find a file. I can't repair it with the
original disc and I can't uninstall it. Wot should I do as
I don't want to format the hard disc......

Do you log into the computer with local Administrative privileges? If not,
you may need to engage someone in the IT department. What file does it ask
for when you try to repair Office? Do you have the original CD or access to
it or the network location Office was originally installed from?
