I have a Dell Inspiron 5000 that had MS Office 2000 as
OEM. It came with Windows 98 and I have upgraded to XP.
There are two users, both with administrator rights.
Since the upgrade, one user can access the MS office
programs and the other user cannot. I repeat: the
programs are on the hard drive and run perfectly when
User A is logged in. When User B is logged in, trying to
run Word triggers a dialog box asking for the Office 2000
Disk 1. After inserting that disk an error message
appears: "error applying transforms. verigy that the
specified transform paths are valid."
Attempts to uninstall or reinstall Office 2000 lead to
the same error message.
What's going on? How can I fix it?
Thanks
