Can't unintall outlook 2007 trial version

My trial version has expired but when I try to un-install from the control
panel, nothing happens. I did get the error when closing outlook "do you
wish to debug, line 297, error: permission denied". It will not debug its
self. When I try to re-install I get a message saying "product installation
is corrupted run setup". After running setup again, it says "trial
encountered an error during setup". I am trying to un-install since I bought
the software Outlook 2007 and need to load it.

If I remove Office 12 and Source Engine will this disable my other office
products from working?
I was working my way thru the suggested list of ways to remove office and
this was under the heading of removing any remaining 2007 Microsoft Office
installations. I got scraed and stopped here.
