Can't use arrow keys or place cursor in text

Randomly, sometimes I can't place my cursor in the body of a Word document or
an Outlook email. The arrow keys also seem to not work. I'm obviously working
in the document, but I can't get the cursor to move and therefore I can't
type.

If it wasn't random, I'd say delete the Word DataKey. But I've not heard of
it being an intermittent problem.
