Can't view attached Images

Larry

I'm now running Outlook 2003, however this was occuring
with Outlook 2002, and the upgrade to 2003 has not fixed
it. Running on Windows XP Pro.

When I double click an attached image, the Windows image
viewer opens, but does not display the image - I get an
alert box saying;

"The system cannot find the specified file"

Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Thanks in advance

Try cleaning your IE cache folder. Go to Control Panel -> Internet
Options -> Deleted Files.

Thanks very much, alex, I tried this but still having the
same problem (it's in Outlook 2003, and also happened in
Outlook 2002 before I upgraded).

Try this:

- Delete contents in "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp"

- Try opening the attachment again

- The other workaround is to save the attachments to local HD and open
from there
