Can't view incoming messages in Outlook Express 6

In Outlook Express the body of incoming messages is not
visible in the preview pane or when the mail is opened. I
can create and send mail, but I can not read incoming mail.

Any Ideas??

I found a KB note about this. There is a Jan 7 hotfix for
this but MS says you have to pay to get it.
