Can't view .jpg attachments

I get the message: "Access Denied" when i try to view jpg
attachments on OfficeXP Outlook. I have to save it on the
hard disk before I can view it.Does anyone know how to
overcome this - is there an overide ? Thanks for your help

Outlook 2002 behaves this way on purpose. It's so that any trojans in the
attachments won't run automatically if you have your preview pane enabled.
If Microsoft hadn't made Outlook an active agent in the first place, so that
it runs what it receives, this issue would never have arisen.
Does anyone know how to overcome this - is there an overide ?

There is a shareware (donationware) product available from
http://www.slovaktech.com/attachmentoptions.htm that will allow you to
control which attachments are protected and which are not.
