Can't view linked image

Hi,
I have followed the Access 2000 help instructions to
create a bound object frame(image) in a form. I want to
have a picture for each record of the database, but they
are large, so I don't store them in the database.I linked
the .jpg file, but all the frame shows is the file name.
If I double click, it opens the file for editing. How can
I get it to show my linked picture on the form?
