Capital and Expense Fields - Server 2007

I want to be able to "duplicate" the built-in capital fields (like BCWP or
BCWS) BUT as expense fields. My goal is to use both - the BCWS as capital
expenditures and the expense only version. What would you recommend as the
best method to recreate these fields? I was planning to use number fields.
Is that a good way to go?

Have you tried creating calculated custom fields to duplicate the system
fields ?

ie Planned Capex formula [BCWS]

Suggest using cost as the field type.

Do you know of a list or a place where the equations are for those fields?

Hi CQ

"capital" and "expense" are not terms which exist in MSP/PS, nor can
you replicate BCWS/BCWP which are generated by the system based on a
number of settings (options, status date, etc.

You can define cost resources and label them capital / expense and
report on them in project and data analysis views.
