Care of

For reasons that I won't go into, I've lately had to use a
number of "care of"s in addresses using Word. I'm sure the
experts all know the answer but it took me a few minutes to
find that the single character c/o symbol was Unicode hex 2105
and I'll pass it on for any others who might be interested. It
can be set up as an autocorrect and I have done that. The 2105
ALT-x route also works too.

simply used the percent
key when needed a c/o.

but i don't see that symbol
in my fonts or charmap.

Try the route in Arial or Times New Roman
Insert symbol and switch to Unicode hex.
