Cascade delete option greyed out in Access 2003

I would like to enable cascade delete for a couple of table relationships.
All relationships have Referential Integrity enabled but I cannot select the
cascade delete option on any of them. Any ideas why this may be?

Are they attached tables?

Is this an MDB?, MDE? ADP? ADE?, ACCDB? ACCDE?

What version of Access are you using?

What version is the file you are trying to change?

Is Access security enforced?

Is it a replicated database?

The relations need to be created in the mdb where the tables exist.
