Case sensitive page names?

Jane Here

I have named some of my web pages with mixed case, such as ProductBase.htm

When I loaded them up to my service provider www.lunarpages.com the page was
not found if I typed it all in small letters. I had to type in the exact
case that I used when I created the page in FrontPage.

Is this correct behaviour? If so, is there anything I can do in FrontPage to
get it to recognize any case for the page name?

Not on a Unix/Linux server, no -- productbase.htm and ProductBase.htm
will be seen as two separate files/pages. For this reason alone, it is
generally better to use only lower case filenames.

There's nothing wrong with Unix/Linux servers... in fact, for some tasks
they are easier to work with than MS servers.

I think you'll find that by default most potential visitors/clients will
type the URL in lower case anyway.
