Categorize projects?

Hi,

I have more than 2000 projects in Project Centre. I want to categorize them by client, business unit, branch & program, so it will be easy to find a project. Is it possible to do in Project Server?

Thanks,

Yes, you can categorize them easily by creating custom enterprise Project fields or outline codes (I assume you are using Project Server 2003). You could create outline codes called Client, Business Unit, Branch, and Program and enter the values needed in each outline code. Then your users will need to open each project, click Project - Project Information, and select a value in each of these fields, and then click Collaborate - Publish - All Information before closing the project. Hope this helps.
