Categorize slides in a single presentation

Tim

I'm using MS PowerPoint 2003 and I'd like to individually categorize each
slide in a single presentation - some slides may fall into multiple
categories. I would then like to search that presentation for all slides
matching a search category.

I thought you may be able to use "keywords" to accomplish this, but can't
figure out how to assign multiple keywords to individual slides.

Is keywords an appropriate solution to this task? If so, can someone advise
how to assign multiple keywords to an individual slide? If not, can someone
advise on a more appropriate means?

Finally, how would I search for all slides meeting specific search criteria
- show me all slides in a presentation with the keyword "corporate overview"
for example.

Thank you.

Hi,

Although not a very good database, you can put "tags" onto each slide by
using keywords in the slide notes.

Then use Apple+F and search on the keywords that you used.

This is the Mac side of the PowerPoint Pasture ... if you haven't already done
so, you might want to post on the Public.PowerPoint group as well.

But here's a thought ... you could create custom shows, one for each keyword.
View a custom show, choose the keyword you want (ie, the name of the custom
show = the keyword) and view only the slides associated with that keyword.
