ccApp keeps bombing

I am running Outlook 2003 with Norton Antivirus 2004.
Every time I pick up mail, I get the Common Client User
Application must close....

I report it to Microsoft each time, but to date nothing
has been indicated about the solution. Norton has no
info on this and I can't find any by searching the
knowledge base here.

What do I do?

You might want to check symantec for how to completely remove NIS, then do a
clean install of NIS.
This is often neccessary when an AV app gives errors
