Yes it is a very good idea. You always need CDs when you install MS patches and so one should alwys keep copy CDs near the computer; You never know when you want to install that critical update from uncle Bill!.

Assuming you are using Nero 6 to make copies then the workaround is to read this tutorial:

I am trying to make a copy of the office pro 2003 CD. I
have a site license, in the process of installing on
individual laptop. It would be nice to have a couple of
cd's to give to the user & make the installing go
quicker. When I try to make a copy, I get an error. What
the work around?

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!
