cd it

there used to be a program called cd it where you could publish your site
from within fp to your cd and when you ran the cd it would open up like a
presentation, not just the files - I did a search on this and can't find it
anymore (well did find it but the link didn't work)

does anyone know if this is still available, and if not is there an
alternative?

thanks
Pam

Tip now out is: PDF AND FRONTPAGE
http://frontpage-tips.com/ - FrontPage Tips
They are primarily for FrontPage 2003 but will be good
for earlier versions too.

what I'm looking for is to be able to give a cd to a person that
automatically shows it like you would see it on the web - not a back up of
the files of fp or an index or whatever - just so the cd would open up to
the web browser with a simple insertion of cd .... any ideas anyone? surely
this is still out there

Publish the web to a folder on your HD, then open the folder in Windows Explorer, delete all _vti
folders, test the site by double clicking the index.htm file, remove content/features the require a
web server or change link to point to the live web site for those items.

Once you have the site running correct, you can burn it to a CD.

FYI: Windows XP SP2 users will receive a security block/warning for any JavaScript function being
run from with the CDs.

Someone else can/will provide you with info for setting up the CD to auto run.
