CD Key not recognized

I am trying to reinstall Office 2000 Upgrade. All is
fine, except Word asks for the CD key, and doesn't accept
the key on my jewel case. No chance of it being the
wrong copy with this jewel case.

Suggested solutions?

You need to call your Microsoft Information Centre and report this problem.
There were some faulty CDs a particular batch of keys that didn't work.
