cd number

I have bought a new laptop. I wanted to install my Front
Page. I was asked for CD number. It is registered to my
name. I have the registration number but I don't carry the
cover of the CDs with me therefore I could not install my
registered program to my new laptop. What am I to do? Buy
a new Front Page also?

If your FrontPage was included in the software package that came with your
computer, you will have to buy a new copy.
If you bought FrontPage at a retail outlet, and its FP 2002 or later you can
download to your old computer a program called Belarc Advisor. Download,
install and run the program, you will find your number.

Yes....unless you only intend to use FP on one or other of the machines at
one time otherwise you're breaking the EULA.

Problem stated ("I could not install my registered program")
Reason stated ("I don't carry the cover of the CDs with me")
Possible solution stated ("Buy a new FrontPage also?")

Hmmm, I'm wondering why the solution doesn't have anything to do with the
reson for your problem. Perhaps a better answer would be "I should carry the
cover of the CDs with me, at least until I get my software instealled."
