Cell Display Box

What is the box at the top of a spread sheet called that displays the content of the cell you are in and if it isn't displayed how can you display it?

It is called the Formula Bar, and you can display it by going to the Tools
menu, choose Option, then View. There, put a check next to "Formula bar".
