Cell Fill Color

I have a spreadsheet that has cells with a single digit in them. I want to
"automatically" shade the cells with a color that is related to the
number/letter that is in there. Currently, there are only numbers in the
cells (0-9). Can someone tell me how to do this?

Here is the basics, extend it with more cases
