Cell is Locked in Visual Web Developer

Newbie Question:

I have been following along in a GREAT tutorial
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/learning/)
and now I am stuck.

I have created a table and want to add data to it using the option,
Show Table Data. The tab opens showing the table BUT it is read only.

Any suggestions, please!?

(mustn't be a great tutorial if you're stuck... either that or your post
was some viral marketing ploy...call me paranoid )
