cell math to decrement/increment a cell

[BUFFETT]

I have a total cell that I can add or subtract from. Any ideas?

My math is as such IF(A6-A5>0, K2=K2-B5)

A formula can only return a value to the cell which contains it.
It cannot change the contents of any other cell.
