Cell Text - Can't See

I upgraded and now can't edit text in any cell. It no longer shows the text
in a bar/window above the column letters.

Is the Formula Bar visible but you can't see text?

Perhaps cell is formatted as Custom ;;;

Is the Formula Bar not visible?

View>Formula Bar.
