Cell value as filename

I am trying to find a way to make a "cell value" read the "filename"
automatically. Similar to how you autoformat a footer to read the
filename. Can anyone offer any advice?

=MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("[",CELL("filename",A1))+1,SUM(FIND({"[";"]"},CELL("filename",A1))*{-1;1})-1)
nb: workbook must be saved
