Cell value on top, inside drawing

Using the drawing tools, I made a box to go on a printed form. See the
link below for the actual box. In the cells that this box is in, how
do you make Excel allow you to put in any text or values and have it
show up as if it fits in the boxes properly. The drawing box stays on
top and you can type whatever you want in the tell, but nothing will
be visible.

Hi
You should use the Text Box in the drawing tools, then you can type anything in
it.

Hi
You should use the Text Box in the drawing tools, then you can type anything in
it.
That wouldn't work because I need a formula in there which will change
each month. The result of the formula would appear in roughly 28
different cells, so I definitley would not want to type it in each
month.

Any other ideas?

Select some cells and place thick borders around them.

Type in what you want.

Place a 100% transparent drawing rectangle over those cells.

Move it out of the way when you want to re-type in the cells.
