Cells on page 1 'connected' to cells on page 2

I'm having a strange and frustrating issue with cells on one page that are
connected to cells on another page. When I type in a cell on page 1 the same
text gets entered in a cell on page 2 and overwrites the text in this cell so
that both cells now have the same text. Any editing I do to one changes the
other. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check the formula in the cells. It looks at though somebody has entered a
formula to do what you are seeing.

If my comments have helped please hit Yes.

Thanks.

We are having SAME EXACT issue. We have no visible formulas in the cells as Dave. Please help! Did you find out what the issue was?

Hi again,
Trying to post and ask if a solution was found for this? We are having same exact issue, and we have no visible formulas in the cells. Please help! Thank you!

It sounds like you have both sheets selected when you are entering your data
(called grouping the sheets). When sheets are grouped, whatever you enter in
a cell gets placed in the same cell on all the grouped sheets. If sheets are
grouped and you right-click on one of the sheet tabs (of a grouped sheet),
the menu that pops up will offer a command to ungroup the sheets.

Hope this helps,

Hutch
