center aligning decimals in excel column

Would anyone know how to center align by decimal a column of numbers.
I've not had a bit of luck figuring this one out...

You could use:

1. Select the column of numbers
2. Choose Format>Cells
3. On the Number tab, select the Custom category
4. In the text box, type: ??????.??????
(use an equal number of ? on each side of the decimal point)
5. Click OK
