Center Object at end of Motion Path (PPT 2003)

I'm sure there's an easy way to do this, put I can't figure it out. I want an
image to move in from the upper right (so, motion down-left, which I can
figure out) and cover up another image, ending exactly in the middle of the
screen. Then, of course, I want to start the next slide with the ending point
of the previous slide (image centered)

I have a feelnig I'm missing something really simple . . . .

Thanks!

Not sure whay you want to start another slide with this ending point since
you can merely animate another object or so on the same slide, but all you
have to do is to manually place the centered object on the center of the
slide, right click it and set it's Custom Animation to Fly in or Crawl in
from the top right. Duplicate the slide and remove the animation of the last
object.

Am I missing something or is this what you wanted?

OfficeTips has a Motion Path Tools Add-in which allows you to create
duplicate shapes at the position where each of the selected motion path
animation ends. Using this tool you can quickly determine the end position of
the animation at design time.

Check this out:
http://skp.mvps.org/mptools.htm

After installing the add-in, you can then duplicate the slide, then use the
motion path tool on the duplicated slide.

Try this little trick. Start with the object at the finish point > draw a
motion path (can be a realloy complicated one!) to the start point and then
right click the path and select "reverse path" You may need to incorporate an
entrance "appear" before the motion (with previous)
