On Visio, there is an option check box under Tools > Options > General Tab >
"Center Selection On Zoom". This option only works when using the pull down
tab from the standard toolbar with the predefined magnifications (50%, 75%,
100%, 150%, 200% and 400%). However, this function does not work when using
the Pan & Zoom window that contains both (+) and (-) magnification buttons
and a magnification slide bar. This would be very helpful because the Pan &
Zoom has more versitile magnification controls and I find myself usinging
more than the pull down by far. Pre-Microsoft Visio also had on their
General Toolbar the same two (+) and (-) magnification buttons as with Pan &
Zoom now. Restoring these to the toolbar would also be very helpful
especially when working with complex drawings.
